Working with children and animals

Posted on April 24, 2012 by Madeleine Rogers

Time for our photoshoot and time to coerce some first time models into keeping still for more than 0.5 seconds (This actually proved to be harder with Camille and Hercules from the Jet Set Pets than with any of the actual human children, who were actually very well behaved). It was a very fun day and special thanks to Richard our photographer and to Karen who kindly lent us her house plus 2 x children.

New kids accessories - a collaboration

Posted on April 24, 2012 by Madeleine Rogers

Back in November, despite most of her time being spent wrestling with her unruly but very sweet 5 month old twins, Madeleine managed to escape the house to briefly meet up with David Bouvet from the wonderful Coqenpate to hatch plans to create a collection of kids accessories all featuring the ever popular Mibo animals. Five months later we can offer you a sneak peek at the range, which has been smapped up by the brilliant design store Sentou in Paris and the equally magnifique Heal's here in the UK.  Here is a little preview of the collection which will be appearing on this site VERY SOON.......

New teatowels are in!

Posted on April 05, 2012 by Madeleine Rogers

What do you do when, halfway through a mammoth post Sunday lunch drying up session, you are suddenly gripped by an overwhelming urge to immerse yourself in an animal-themed, craft-based activity? (Come on, we've ALL been there, right?) Well, If you happen to be drying those dishes with one of Mibo's NEW owl or squirrel organic cotton tea towels then you are in luck because, like their predecessors the Lion and Fox, these little beauties can be transformed into ultra sweet decorative cushions with just a pair of scissors, some stuffing and some thread (er, and a sewing machine if you want to complete the job by Monday). Or, you can do what a lot of sensible folk do and give them as a gift, so it's the recipient who then has to face the agonizing CUT or KEEP dilema. Printed onto organic cotton in the UK, these award winning tea towels also look fab framed up.
