A lesson in endurance

Imagine if you can, standing for 60 days in a -35C blizzard with no food or shelter, all the while trying to balance a large and precious egg on top of your chilly feet. One false move could send the egg tumbling to perish on the ice. It is the courageous Emperor penguin who manages to pull of this feat of endurance to ensure the safe passage of the next generation. Nature is truly mind-boggling.
